Pat and Mike, Sally and I can only offer our deepest sympathy  with your sorrow over this loss. I think Greg was the first baby I'd ever held, that November day in the hospital room. And what a pleasure it was to watch him grow to be a kid it was impossible not to love. And then to watch him blossom into a thoroughly admirable and authentic man. He will be dearly missed in this temporal world. And to steal a line from Wendell Berry, he lives "now in the permanent world. And we are the absent ones."
