With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory Nides Valencia, Sr. a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle and proud United States Marine. He departed this world on September 29, 2023. Gregory was a father like no other. He cherished family moments and treasured each memory created with his loved ones. He is preceded in death by Rafael C. Valencia (father), Isabel Valencia (sister), Shirley Romero (sister). He is survived by his Wife Tina Valencia, his children, Gregory Nides Valencia, Jr.; Andrea Cruz; Candelaria Valencia; Valentina Valencia and Gregory Nides Valencia, III, Lupe Romero (mother),Phillip Valencia (brother), Ronald Valencia (brother), AnnaMarie Valencia (sister), Rosalie Romero (sister), Susie Romero (sister), Arturo Romero (brother), grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Greg's life and honor his service will be held on Friday, October 20th, 2023 at 10:00 am at Funeraria Del Angel South Lawn 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. Military honors presentation will occur Friday, October 20, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn & South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, Arizona 85706. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 20, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn & South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, Arizona 85706. A reception will occur Friday, October 20, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
