We became family in 1986 when you were the best man for Ernesto and Shelley Pesqueira's wedding, we had many good times  together as a family, watched our kids grow up and our marriages end. We were  not ready to lose you yet  but we don't get to decide you will be missed but never forgotten brother. R.I.P

Hey Wills,
I was so heartbroken to hear of your passing. 
We had some good times didn't we? 
Restaurants, movies, Gaslight Theater. You always talked about working on that old truck in the backyard. I would always joke about how you never got that done and that you had been talking about it for over 30 years. 
You were a great cook on that grill of yours. 
When Lemito and Adrian were younger, we would be visiting your parents, the boys would get upset when you took your shoes off, because it meant that you would not be going home soon. 
I appreciate how a couple of times you and Ray went to the Pueblo High School football games. 
I will miss your jokes about body functions, speaking particularly of noises. 
I will miss how you always asked if I ever saw the movies Up In Smoke or Fearless Vampire Killers. I believe you were stuck in the mid-twentieth century with its culture of music and movies. 
Your vast knowledge of music and the artists was unbelievably abysmal. 
You are always late for our family functions. That is until you met and married Leticia. You always had a "What's the big deal attitude". That used to upset me so much. You were such a procrastinator. 
Remember on New Year's Eve at the Cottonwood house? We were sitting around your little fireplace and just talking. I think a bottle was involved. 
I thank you for playing Bob Seger any time we got together. 
Your jokes were sometimes off-color, but we loved you for them anyway. I believe the last time you told an off-color joke was when Ray was in the hospital and you said that we should take him out to dinner when he got out. You suggested we take him to IHOP! You were one sick puppy. lol 
I will always appreciate how you were optimistic about Ray getting better. 

Rest in peace dear brother. 
Know that you were loved and you WILL be missed. 

Denise Fournier Morales

It's been years since I have had the opportunity to see Willie but what I remember is this tall, dark haired,  handsome guy that was the big brother of my best friend. A great smile and all around a great guy that loved his boys and his family. 
Rest in Peace, Willie.

I remember this day well, you wanted to have Indian tacos. We went to walk the hill we had so much fun there. We saw an old lady make it up to the top while her brother was watching. I wished I could do that at her age but wouldn’t attempt it then. I’ll never forget you RIP you will always be Tata Willy to my kids and grandsons!!!

Willie we will forever and always keep you in memory. I personally will miss you laughing at all our craziness. But most importantly the great tata you were to all our kids and grandkids. We will all miss you dearly. Please watch over all of us. We love you . May you rest peacefully. 

We spent a week with Willie and his family in 2019. He didn't even know us and graciously had us over for Thanksgiving to his home. The rest of the week we spent getting to know him, talking about music, classic rock bands, and his time as a DJ. You could tell he truly loved and cared for his family, his pets, and absolutely adored his wife Leticia. He was such a kind soul - Willie will be missed!
