Harold Trull, 89, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on July 16, 2026. Born in Durham, North Carolina, Harold proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 21 years, retiring in 1977. He went on to build a second career with the United States Postal Service before fully retiring. Harold made Tucson his home in 1983, where he lived for over four decades.
Harold was a devoted family man who cherished every moment with those he loved. He enjoyed tending to his garden, hunting for a good deal at the thrift store, and was a passionate, lifelong fan of Colorado sports — cheering on the Avalanche, the Broncos, the Rockies, and the Nuggets. He rarely missed his daily CNN news update or giving his canine companions Donut and Nacho their daily treats. If there was a local hockey game or a monster truck event you could count on him being in his favorite seats.
Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rafaela Trull, in 1995, whom he missed dearly every day since, and by his sister Fredricka and brother Gamaliel in North Carolina.
He is survived by his daughter, Victoria Trull; his grandson, Jaden; his former son-in-law, Juan Diaz, who remained close to Harold over the years; his stepson, Randy Small; and his siblings Lila and Michael in North Carolina.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 5:00 PM, followed by a service at 6:30 PM, both at Funeraria del Angel Southlawn. Burial will follow on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM at South Lawn Cemetery.
Harold will be remembered for his love of family, his quiet generosity, and his steadfast devotion to the ones he held dear. He will be deeply missed.
