Harrell "Goody" Goodman

Harrell “Goody” Goodman was born to the late Monzell and Hattie Goodman on March 23, 1949. He was called home to rest on October 9, 2015. Harrell was also preceded in death by his brother, Jonathan Goodman. While attending Voorhees Technical College in Denmark, SC., Harrell enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in which he retired after 32 years of service. Harrell later enrolled in Park College where he earned a B.S. degree in 1998, and later earned a Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in 2003 in Counseling. Harrell is survived by his wife of 26 years, Evelyn Goodman; children, Marcia (Eugene) Clapp of Miami, FL., Brian Page of Texas, Temple Goodman of Miami, Fl., Michael Shawn (Jessica) of Colorado Springs, CO., Tanya (Demarcus) White of Texas; sisters, Patricia (Wilbur) Henderson of Myrtle Beach, SC., Carol (Michael) Gary of Denmark, SC.; 7 grandchildren; 5 sister-in-law’s, Itleen (Rodney) Brunson of Jacksonville, FL., Elzetta (Cephus) Gregg of Sumter, SC., Lula Mae (Clifton) Collins of Texas, Bettye Loatman of Boston, Mass., Willie Mae Cokley of Sumter, SC.; 2 brother-in-law’s, Luther (Diane) Kennedy of Sumter, SC., Major Kennedy of Sumter, SC. and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family..
