Harry Earl Brannon, Jr., 78, entered into rest on December 19, 2016. He was born on June 24, 1938 in Tucson AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Katie, children Harry III, Michael (Tina), Joseph, and Elizabeth, his stepsons Joe, Danny, Randy (Sarah), his brothers Bruce, Bill (Janice) and his 17 grandchildren.
Harry lived a life full of athletic and military endeavors. Harry played football at Eastern Arizona College, graduated from the University of Arizona. His athletic career included playing Football, Baseball and Basketball. While serving in the U.S. Navy in Linguistics, he trained with several sports teams overseas; as a coach and player. Harry also served his community as a Tucson Police Officer and a State Trooper in Central Arizona. He was also a member of the National Softball Championship Team, well into his 50’s.
Visitation, Military Honors and Burial will be held at East Lawn 5601 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ, on December 29, 2016 at 11:30 am.
