I am so blessed to have had time with Hilda. As she made her daily laps, I had to keep up with her speed. I remember her love for chocolate and her daughter saying if she has chocolate on her clothes that means she’s happy. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

TO ME MUM

FROM SANDRA

ALL TO MYSELF I THINK OF YOU-
THINK OF THE THINGS WE USED TO DO,
THINK OF EACH HAPPY YESTERDAY;
SOMETIMES I SIGH AND SOMETIMES I SMILE,
BUT I KEEP EACH OLDEN, GOLDEN WHILE
ALL TO MYSELF. XXX

I did not know Aunt Hilda, because we were a Navy family often traveling. Mom is the sister of Aunt Hilda’s beloved husband Joe. Mom and I send our heartfelt condolences. We pray for Sandra, Kathy and your families as you grieve your precious loss and for God to comfort you. May Aunt Hilda rest in perfect peace❤️
With love,
Anna Mae & Linda

Hilda lived in the condo next to me (in Maine) for several years. What a hoot! Always eager to meet whatever couch surfers I was hosting from around the world! Never turned down an invite for a get-together! Surprised my son and me with goodies she had made to share (gourmet jello delights, etc). Scolded me for running out to start my car in sub-zero temperatures in my shirt sleeves! Let the cable company guys in to my place to fix things while I was at work. Sharing her stories from days gone by. Truly a really ideal next-door neighbor for many years. I have missed her already since her move to Nevada, but miss her even more now. Hugs to you Sandra and boys and family!
