Born March 2nd 1923 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, passed away on October 1st 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl & Naomi Thompson and wife Millie Thompson. Howard is survived by, children, Thomas (Jeanne) Thompson, Susan (Jim) Farero, Keith (Susan) Thompson; grandchildren, Kevin (Candace), Ryan, and Sean Thompson, Steven Farero; great–grandchildren, Tyler Thompson, Jacob and Junior Farero, plus many other relatives and friends. Howard served in the USAF from 1942–1946. In 1957 he moved his family to Tucson, Az. where he worked as a barber at Davis-Monthan AFB until he retired in 1985. His interest included traveling, taking his family to the lakes, Nascar racing, hiking and walking, playing cards, and spending the summers in northern Arizona in the Munds Park area. Howard will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Please join us for a funeral service on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:00 am at East Lawn Palms Mortuary with an entombment to follow.
