Iris Hilma Mckinney

Iris H. McKinney was born in Jones county, MS on December 19,1925. She went home to be with her lord Jesus on August 18,2021 at the young age of 95. Iris was the 5th of 8 children born to Will and Lula Hayes. She was married to the love of her life Robert (Mac) for 52 years before his passing in 1998. Iris worked many jobs: Telephone operator, school bus driver and retired after 20 years as an Office manager for one of Tucson's distinguished cardiologists. She was very involved in the community and at the Tucson First Brethren Church. Iris' laugher, craziness, bravery, faithfulness, and warmth will be missed by all who loved her so much. She is survived by her son, Scott (Gwen), daughters Marty (Basil) Stamper, and Joan(Greg) Culver, brothers Jack (Jean) Hayes, and Mike Hayes. She also loved Seth (Sabrina), and Ryan (Stephanie) McKinney, grandaughts Megan (Brandon) Ratzlaff, and Nichole Stamper (Deceased), Jenna Culver, Danielle (Pat) Thompson, and Tessa (Tim) Funderburg. Great Grandchildren Sky, Slade, Sabra, James, Jack, Jazmine, Kayleb, Mackinsey, Ailey, and Evelyn, also several nieces and nephews and foster children.
