Irma owned her own business and also worked as an Office Administrator and Bookkeeper and Legal Secretary.
Some of the places Irma worked: As a child Irma worked at her Father and Mother’s Pharmacy, Economy Drug Store which later changed to Flores Nacional AZ. She moved to California with her family in 1961 where she acquired a job at Allen Gorden Enterprises, a film equipment company in Hollywood, CA. She also worked with her Daughter Valerie Miranda and husband Thomas in their Print shop, Miranda’s Printing CA. Irma also owned and Operated Casa de Marcos Jewelry CA in the 80’s. She moved back to Tucson AZ and in the 90’s she worked at the Green Valley Chamber of Commerce, where she loved being a part of her community. In 2016, Irma moved back to California, after Charles passed, to be with her children and grandchildren. She worked for her daughter Marlene at Via Promotionals where she became a very key helper. She loved working there because she was surrounded by her family. She felt it gave her purpose and drive.
Irma had a passion for helping others, learning her bible, loving her family and studying her family history. She loved puzzles, making friends where ever she went. Irma also wrote several short stories, that included her grandchildren. Mostly, she loved her family and made sure she spent as much time with them as she could.
She is survived by her children: Valerie Miranda, Darlene Marcos Sears, Marlene Torres Via.
Grand Children: Joshua Miranda, Noel Miranda, Daniel Torres, Sharese Torres, Jacob Miranda, Woodland DeMars
Great Grandchildren: Michael Uribe, Leila Uribe, Alayna Miranda, Jax Miranda, Nevaeh Miranda, Arrowyn Torres and Maverick Miranda.
