Isaac was born on January 15, 1973, in Tucson, AZ to Leroy and Marcella Gonzales. He was the youngest of 5 siblings and they would say “he was the baby of the family and a mama’s boy,” and he loved that, and he loved his mama. Isaac worked as a tradesman but his passion, from a very early age, was music. He played the bass guitar in several bands and wrote and sang. Isaac was a rocker and loved playing on stage and giving a good show. He attended Santa Rita High School and Cochise College.
Isaac is survived by his mother, Marcella Gonzales and child Helena and his siblings, Theresa (Rob) Hanson, Anthony, Patti (Craig) Norris, and brother and best friend Chris -- as well as his nephews and nieces: David, Sarah, Christopher (Alexandria), Alyssa, Isabella and Sophia. He also leaves behind many family members in New Mexico and friends in Tucson. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy, niece, Elizabeth, grandmother, Isabel and great grandma, Petra.
Isaac was a loving son and brother and friend to many and a stranger to none. He was full of life and adventurous, sometimes mischievous. He was spiritual, a deep thinker, thoughtful and present and loved family gatherings. His humor and presence will be dearly missed.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Augustine Cathedral with interment following at noon at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, Mausoleum of Peace. Gathering of family and friends to follow.
