James E Meissner

James Meissner—loving papa, father, uncle, brother, and friend—died on September 11, 2026. He gave most of his time to his church and his community, and he never missed a chance to sing and play his guitar. He especially enjoyed traveling during the summer to visit friends and family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda (Schwan) Meissner; his parents, Elroy and Madelyn (Dauner) Meissner; and his brother, Paul Meissner. He leaves behind two sons, Randy (Deanna) Meissner and Jeremy (Jennifer) Meissner; five grandchildren, Brianna (Eric Ricard) Meissner, Brian Meissner, Hunter Meissner, Madelyn Meissner, and Xander Meissner; a great-grandchild, Grayson Ricard Meissner; and four siblings, Lois (Rick) Goodman, David (Kathy) Meissner, Steve (Sharon) Meissner, and John Meissner, as well as countless friends whom he loved. Services will be held at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Tucson, AZ, on Nov. 14, 2026, at 10:30 AM.
