Jane E. Hedgpeth

HEDGPETH, Jane E., 61, of Tucson, passed away on February 22, 2011. Born January 16, 1950 in Springfield, MO to David and Rena Hedgpeth, Jane spent the major part of her childhood in Toledo, OH, graduating from Devilbliss High School in Toledo in 1968. She earned an Associate Arts degree in Recreation and Wildlife from Hocking Technical College, Nelsonville, OH in 1974. While visiting Arizona and helping her sister move, she fell in love with the area and made Arizona her home in 1977. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Studies Area of Concentration: Psychology, Philosophy and Biology from the University of Arizona in 1982. Upon graduation from the University of Arizona, she entered a lifetime career of community mental health working for the CPSA for 15 years as a Criminal Justice Specialist, a liason between Behavioral Health and the Juvenile Court System. Jane is survived by her sister, Sally Ann Levine; nephew, Brad Levine, both of Rogersville, MO; niece, Michelle Levine of Springfield, MO; grandnephew, Quentin; nephew, Dr. Ben Levine of NY, plus a host of friends. A Memorial Service will be held at EAST LAWN PALMS CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd., on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to M.I.K.I.D. or Casa De Los Gatos.
