Jasmyn Yahleel-Reese Flood

February 12, 2015May 2, 2019

Jasmyn Yahleel Reese Flood was born on February 12, 2015 in Tucson, AZ. She was called home to Heaven on May 2, 2019 following a long battle with cancer. Lovingly known as Joyful Jasmyn , she was an inspiration to many with her resilient spirit, contagious laughter, and radiant smile. Jasmyn was passionate about horses, unicorns, and all things pink. She loved riding horses at the family ranch, sword fighting her older brother, playing dolls with her sister, and taking care of her baby brother. When playing on her own, Jasmyn could be found practicing her skills as a doctor with her stuffed animals or in her play kitchen making everyone a delicious meal. Now, she is certain to be dancing in Heaven and singing the most beautiful songs to Jesus, just as she did on earth. Jasmyn is survived by her parents, Joshua and Shawna Flood; her siblings, Asher Flood, Elliot Kolomichuk, and Kyla Kolomichuk; her grandparents, Janice Thompson, Cindy Sylvester and Daniel Laos. A celebration of life will be held at 2pm on Friday May 17th at Second Mile Church, 5005 E. Winsett St. Tucson, AZ 85711. Jasmyn will be laid to rest at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5901 E. Grant Rd. Tucson, AZ 85712. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in memory of Jasmyn to Second Mile Church as they have graciously covered the funeral costs for the family. Joyful Jasmyn will be dearly missed by all and will be forever in our hearts.

Jazzy's beautiful smile was always the bright spot in my day! Her sweet voice singing was amazing! She will be missed by so many people who grew to love the joyful little girl and her family. Her parents are special people - sharing Jazzy had to be so difficult. It has been a moving experience getting to know the family. God bless you all - God has a sweet little angel singing to Him now. Prayers for all.

I met Jasmyn in NYC. She was always wearing pink and had the sweetest little voice. I’ll never forget the way she made me and all those around her smile. If you knew her, you loved her. See you in heaven, sweet girl!

This is from all of Jasmyn's 3F8 RNs at MSKCC. We had the pleasure of getting to know Jasmyn and her family. Every time she would walk on the unit, we could hear her sweet voice down the hallway and we all immediately had smiles on our faces. She was the sweetest little girl, and always made us laugh. You will be missed sweet girl, and all we can say is "love you, miss you, bye!"

I found Jazmyn just recently through the Disney video when she was saying to goodbye to Disney World and she touched my heart so much! I'm so sorry for your loss! She is a precious little girl and is in the arms of Jesus now🙌 I have to say I saw the amazing bravery and trust in the Lord in every photo of mom or dad holding her to her siblings lovingly by her side! May God comfort you all with a supernatural comfort that only the Lord can give. Warmest regards, Rebecca
