Jerry Earl Lafferty went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2015. He was 76 years old. He was born in Avon, Illinois. He and his wife, Carol, moved to Tucson on September 2, 1960. Jerry went through Carpenter Apprenticeship from 1961-1965. He worked on numerous schools, office buildings, banks, churches, a six mirror telescope with The Smithsonian, the first addition of U of A Stadium and the William Clements Recreation Center. The construction companies that Jerry worked for were, Fred Pace Construction for 24 years and Giles Construction for 15 years. Jerry is survived by his wife, Carol, daughter, Terri (Mike) Pastor, son, Todd (Susan) Lafferty and son Tim Lafferty. Jerry was a loving grandfather to Hannah and Jared Pastor, Rebecca, Jenna, Jonathan and Brooke Lafferty. A Celebration of Life will be held for Jerry at 22nd Baptist Church on Saturday, January 2, at 11:00 AM.
