

Jesse was deeply devoted to his wife, Diana, who was not only his partner in life but also his greatest joy. To know Jesse meant you often heard about Diana-his best friends,his constant companion, and the love of his life. They shared a rare kind of partnership: one built on laughter, loyalty, and deep understanding, Together they supported and balanced one another in every way. Their bond was one of true interdependence, ech giving strength to the other through every season of life.
Jesse had a knack for collecting treasures-both the kind you could hold in your hands and the kind that came in the form of lifelong friends. His ability to connect with people and bring them together was one of his greatest gifts.
He was the kind of friend who made everyone feel seen,heard, and valued. Jesse had a gift for making people laugh and could brighten even the darkest day with his wit and warmth. He would do anything to make his friends laugh, even if it meant embarrassing himself in the process. His humor was fearless, joyful, and always full of love.
Jesse faced his battle with cancer with extraordinary courage and grace. For years, he fought with strength that inspired everyone around him. His resilience, humor, and kindness never wavered, even in the hardest moments. His caregivers and medical team often remarked on his spirit and determination.
Outside of his relationships, Jsse found joy in simple pleasure. He loved tending to his garden,spending time with his two dogs, listening and playing music, and enjoyed boxing. These small joys reflected his appreciation for life's beauty, energy, and rhythm. He enjoyed animals and had a great tenderness for all critters.
He had a strong sense of fairness and integrity and approached life with an open heart and a generous spirit.
He will be profoundly missed by his wife Diana, 2 dogs; father and stepmother, Jim and Wendy Freshwater, mother; (passed) Mary McDonough, mother in law, Gloria Salas; sister, Kristen Gipson, brother in law, Will Gipson; nieces and nephews, Ethan, Lilian,Elijah,Gabriel and Maggie Gipson; sister and brother in law, Monica and William Acosta; nephew, Lennox Acosta; good friend/brother, Mark Peterson; and good friend/sister Bre Barton.
