Jesus Carlos Pizano, 73, passed away on July 15, 2026. He was born on May 25, 1953. A resident of Queen Creek, Arizona, Jesus will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew him.
Jesus attended Douglas High School and later transferred to Pueblo High School, continuing forward with the steady determination that would shape the course of his life.
For 28 years, Jesus worked for the City of Tucson, building a legacy defined by reliability, dedication, and pride in honest work. He later became a truck driver for T&K for 12 years, carrying that same strong work ethic into every mile and every day. Along the way, his warmth and good humor made him the kind of person others were glad to work beside—someone who could lighten a moment without ever losing sight of what needed to be done.
In 1976, Jesus met Esmeralda Garcia, and the two were married in 1977. Together they welcomed two children, Carlos Jesus and Celina, and his love for family only grew with time as he became a grandfather to six grandchildren. Weekends and gatherings were often made special by what he enjoyed most: spending time with those he loved and sharing a meal of carne asada.
Jesus found joy in the things that brought people together. He enjoyed attending concerts and collecting vinyl records, appreciating the music and memories they carried. He also worked on hot rods, and he loved selling at the swap meet on the weekends—bringing energy, conversation, and a generous spirit to the simple routines that became meaningful traditions.
Above all, Jesus will be remembered for the kindness he extended so naturally and so often. He was someone who stepped in when help was needed, and he never forgot those facing hard times—always making a point to feed unfortunate families both here and in Mexico. His generosity was not performative; it was steady, practical, and heartfelt, offered with dignity and care.
Jesus is survived by his sister, Tina Pizano. He was preceded in death by sisters, Virginia Garcia and Gloria Davis, and by his mother, Ana J Pizano, and father, Carlos N Pizano.
“Thank you for everything Dad and for the lessons you taught us.”
