There are so many words that do not fit, but the ones that do we are holding for you, friend.
Blessed transition, Jill.

Dear Herk, Michael and Sandy. I wish I could be there with you  but I am in Seattle visiting family. I will zoom the service however and be there with you in spirit this Friday. I know that Jill will always be in my heart as I have cherished every wonderful Sunday morning having coffee with her, concerts, plays, board meetings and  so many other fun times together. Although I am still in shock and not yet able to accept her passing, I know how lucky I was to have had Jill as my friend. She will continue to be a blessing in my life forever.  

To Herk and family-I was so sad to hear about Jill’s passing. Jill was the ECE director at the JCC when both of my children attended. I was lucky enough to work closely with Jill on many committees at the JCC, and learned so much from her. She genuinely cared about her teachers, parents and all of the kids. Although we hadn’t seen each other for a very long time,  we started running into each other numerous times at the JCC,  pre-pandemic. Although my kids are adults, she remembered everything about them as if it was yesterday.  She was just as kind, and funny as I remember her back in our preschool days together. When I am at the J, I will be sure to think about Jill and her big smile, and all the love and happiness she brought to so many. I hope the good memories will somehow make this time more comforting for you. Fondly, Sue Briefer
