Joan C. Cosentino 7/21/1933 – 10/20/2011 Born in Elyria, OH, Joan was a resident of Tucson for 43 years. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joseph, and three children, Stephen (Bridgette) of Gilbert, AZ, Cynthia (Stuart) of Tucson, and Debra of San Jose, CA. Joan also took great pride in enjoying 10 grandchildren, Andrea and Adam (Jessica) Stuart, Tori, Angela, Zachary, Anthony, Sean, Dominic, Anna and Stephanie. She was very active in the Tucson Education Association while employed as an elementary school teacher and counselor in the Tucson Unified School District. She enjoyed traveling and took joy in working most of the year to prepare a great Christmas for all members of the family. A Memorial Service will be conducted at Pantano Christian Church, 1755 S. Houghton Rd., on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Humane Society in her name. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.
