Joan E. Inch passed away on May 2, 2021 at the age of 94. Joan was born in Treherne, Manitoba, Canada to Pearl and Wes Clegg. After graduating from Riverbend High School in Winnipeg she went on to study music at the Toronto Conservatory of Music and the University of Manitoba, earning an Associate Degree, with a goal of becoming a concert pianist. Music was her passion as was her family. After moving to Tucson in 1956 with her husband, George R. Inch, she taught piano and was a member of the Tucson Music Teachers Association. She enjoyed cooking, hosting parties, swimming, walking, and dogs. For years she sang in her church choir at Christ Church United Methodist, even singing with the choir at Carnegie Hall. Joan loved her family and friends and offered good cheer and joy to everyone. She had a generous spirit and kind soul who will be greatly missed by all those who knew her and loved her. Joan was predeceased in death by her parents; brother, Harvey Clegg; and husband, George. She is survived by her four children, Barbara (Lynn) Ketchum, Kevin (Jacqueline) Inch, Maureen (Jack) Choate, and Michelle (Penny) Inch; six grandchildren, Hank (Angela) Ketchum, John (Michelle) Ketchum, Stephanie (Robert) Tarango, Charlie (Jonica) Inch, Kevin Inch, and Elizabeth (Daniel) Inch; six great grandchildren, Alexa, Jack, Kate, Brooke, Olivia Ketchum and Parker Tarango, cousins, and several nieces and nephews.
