John A Davis, age 91, went to join the love of his life, Margaret and his son, John Jr. on Saturday May 20th 2017. During World War II, he was in the U.S. Coast Guard aboard a cargo ship. He returned to Illinois to get his Masters Degree in Education. John taught school in Wood River Illinois, Paso Robles California, and for Amphi School District in Tucson, Arizona. He is survived by daughters, Barbara Beuckman (Tom) and Robin Bentley (Jerry), one sister, Joann Small (Edward), 5 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter and a Great Great Grandson on the way. We will all miss him very much. He was a wonderful father. Services will be held at East Lawn Palms Cemetery on Tuesday, May 30th at 1:00 PM
