was born April 12, 1944 in Detroit, MI. He followed the star home to his maker on December 24, 2017. He was preceded into Heaven by his parents, John and Mary as well as his brother, David. John was loved by all who knew him. He was hard-working, friendly, kind and generous. He is recognized by his family as the World's Greatest. John is survived by his wife of 32 years, Cathy; his five children, Michael (Jan), Robert, Frank (Nicole), Julie and Johnny, as well as his ten grandchildren, extended family and close friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN. Mass service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church located at 1800 S. Kolb Rd. Interment to follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
