Jack and Lucille were part of our family. I loved seeing him at every family function. Jack even lived next to DietzK8 which is where I teach 3rd grade. One day, he unexpectedly stopped in with the most awesome electronic gadget that he made for my students. He called it “steady hands”. The kids had to beat the time while taking a wand through a wire without touching the wire. It was a great opportunity for me to discuss Jack’s engineering degree and how his knowledge from going to college helped him in creating that device. We used that gadget for 3 years until it broke. But, Jack came to the rescue and fixed it. When I told Jack how much the kids were enjoying his creation, his face was beaming with a big smile. Thank you Jack for being a part of our family. We will miss you.
