John Wayne Rupp

February 4, 1950August 7, 2019

John Wayne Rupp walked peacefully onto a new path at the age of 69 in his final resting place of Tucson, Arizona on Wednesday August 7th, 2019. Born in Pikeville, Kentucky then raised in Mansfield, Ohio; John is the son of Warren and Frances Christian Rupp. Survived by his wife and soulmate of 18 years Geraldine Rupp (60), His son, Wayne Rupp (23), Grand Daughter Grace Rupp (7 months). Sisters; Sheron Rupp, and Suzzane Hartong, His 3 Daughter-in-laws; Angel Robles, Andrea Manzo, Arabella Ortiz and his Son-in-Law Eddie Robles. Including 20 extended grandchildren from Ages 25 to 1. His service dog of 9 years, who served John obediently until his final day, Tony Rupp.

John was loved by many and learned to live life with God and love after converting through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed driving fast and chatting with those who were willing to listen. John enlisted in the US Army at a young age of 17 and went on to serve on two 3-year deployments through 1968-1977. John was a man of courage and full of kindness. John enjoyed spending time with his wife “Ger” as he loved calling her. John and Ger are inseparable even after his untimely passing, they have spent all 18 years together side by side through the darkest and the best days. John was a respected family man of 26 children and grandchildren who all got to grow up with him. He loved each individually and formed bonds that will reach far beyond even he could imagine. John also had countless friends that he cherished through many stories and never forgot a name or a date of those who had the opportunity to cross paths with him. John will be dearly and deeply missed by all those he loved. So for now, John, rest in eternal peace until we meet again.

With Love, all of your family.

At this time, please share stories of John to ease the pain of his wife Geraldine as she grieves his passing. No donations are needed at this time. Thank you.

John was the closest thing I ever had to a father! He would drop whatever he was doing to help my family and I with no questions asked. We had some special talks and times together while eating a Sonoran dog and drinking a cold glass bottle of Coca~Cola. You will be truly missed! Felicia, our children, and I love you forever John May you Rest In Peace.
