John Grant Siebels

1958. He was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on June 24, 2024, in Tucson, AZ.

John was confirmed in 1972 at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Vernon Center, MN and had a quiet, solid

faith in his Creator. He graduated in 1976 from Wellcome Memorial High School in Garden City, MN.

John worked at Poly Plastics in Mankato for several years until he decided the warm climate of Arizona

would suit him better. He hated the cold and if the temps got below 50 degrees in Tucson, where he

lived for 40 years, he could be seen wearing his trusty earmuffs. John had a kind and generous spirit,

always ready to step in and help, whatever the job might be. He was an enthusiastic cook, loved

fishing, watching old movies, particularly old westerns, a good margarita and sports, so you had better

not call him while one of his favorite Arizona teams was on TV! Family time with siblings and

extended family was very special to him.

Left to mourn his passing are siblings: Mark (Virginia) Siebels, Chandler, AZ, Lori (Don) Waylett,

Mankato, MN, Amy (Jason) Hugie, Papillion, NE, Heidi (Patrick) Doll, Milford, IA, Paul (Diana)

Siebels, Saginaw, MN and several beloved nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents.
