Josefina C. Torres, 89, of Tucson, AZ passed away in her sleep on March 21, 2024. Born to Maria Arredondo and Virginio Cortez in Harlingen, Texas. She is survived by her loving husband, Alex Torres, son, John-Paul (Louise), daughter, Marie/Mari-Beth (James) & grandchildren Jessica, Antoñio, Anjelica, Aiden, Baby Joaquin and Ava. As well as many nieces and nephews throughout TX and CA.
Josie enjoyed reading her Bible daily, gardening, taking long drives and lunch dates with her husband, visits from her children and grandchildren, and her current puppy love, Ziba. Her smile truly lit up the world! She will be missed greatly.
A memorial service in her honor will be held on Monday, April 1., 2024, at South Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitations will be between 4:00-6:00 PM and service/prayers/eulogy will be from 6:00-7:00 PM.
Burial to be held at a later date.
