To Joshua's Mom, Debbie and family.....it's Steve from Tucson, I just signed on for the first time since I last posted, and was ever grateful to see you had read my memory about Josh.  I'm so happy you liked what I had written.  My memories of the times Josh and I spent together are still ever vivid and wonderful.  They comfort me beyond description.  In this life, I believe we hope to encounter others who bring the best out in us....to encounter those who are extraordinarily kind, trustworthy, fun, and supportive.  Joshua certainly had all of these wonderful qualities, and more.  With my near photographic memory, the memory of the Winter day he and I went up Alvernon Way on our bikes, and then hiked up in the Catalinas in the snow for an hour, enjoying the winter wonderland up there, celebrating the unique snow in the desert....the memories of that day always comfort me, as I relive them every time I think about them.  It's certainly one of my greatest memories.  I'm comforted by Josh's kindness in my memories,  as he was the most trustworthy and supportive of friends....one who makes life the best.  It's memories like these that bring the greatest happiness in life, and a most grateful feeling that life on earth is made forever enviable by Josh and those who are like him.  My best to the family.....Josh is always with us, a shining light of kindness and happiness.

 Sorry that it has been so long since I have made an entry.
  Don has cancer and congestive heart failure they gave him one year to live. So things have been pretty crazy, but I still think of you all of the time. I need you so much.
  Stephanie is getting married in August, she is so busy getting things ready, it is such a long way a ways that I don't know what she is going to do. I don't know if we can make it because of don's health.

Joshua: be sure to welcome your cousin crystal who came to heaven last Friday! She is the daughter of Margaret. She had foot surgery and a blood clot went to her lung. She died the day before her 35th birthday.  Grandparents Betty and Fred are both not very well. Betty had pacemaker last week. Fred had a pacemaker already and has surgery Thursday to change batteries in it. Funeral is Wednesday at 10:00 am

Josh:  Uncle Bill went to heaven to see everyone on Christmas Day.  His funeral is Tuesday. I know Aunt Thelma is glad he is with her now.  So sad everyone is leaving here, but know heaven is a better place.

I used to attend Orange Grove Junior High School back in the 80's and was a friend of Josh Ramet.  I haven't seen him since, but have a photographic memory, and recall one of the happiest days of my existence spent with Josh as we hiked up Finger Rock Trail for about an hour in the Catalina Mountains one afternoon after school, shortly after there was a rare snowfall during the day.  Given my memory is photographic, the images came to me suddenly this evening, and I knew I had to go online to find him. Im deeply saddened to see he passed on. Josh was an amazing gentleman, and a good friend, and I'll forever be thankful for him being part of my middle childhood life. His extraordinary, upstanding character enlightened us all, and it continues to do so. He is always with us.....always.

  I need to ask for your prayers. Don went back into the hospital today, he had chest pains and his pulse was 174. They spent all day trying to bring it down and keep it there, no luck.
  I'm not even over losing you. I burn a candle every night in that cowboy you liked. I love you Son.
