Born March 31, 1938, to Giles Oliver and Florence Boswell Gainer in Capitol Heights, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her parents, an older sister, Audrey and an older brother, Robert J. Gainer (Margaret) of Aiken SC. She is survived by an older brother, Lt Col Giles William Gainer, USAF, Ret. (Dorothy) of Jackson Gap, AL, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Judy's work with the US Air Force began at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland and took her to France, England, and Australia (where she worked for the US Embassy). She then settled in Tucson, working at Davis Monthan until her retirement. Judy was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 2006 and found great joy in sharing Bible truths with others.
Memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 11261 E. Tanque Verde Rd. at 7 pm April 3. We look forward to seeing her again. She will be buried with her parents in Ringgold, MD.
