Julia M Trueblood

Julia was born in Tucson, Arizona on May 22, 1931, to Gertrudis Lucero and Angel Montano.

She graduated high school from Tucson High School in Tucson, Arizona. Julia worked as

a secretarial clerk at the Tucson Police Department where she met and married Everett J.

Trueblood on April 2nd, 1953, in Tucson, Arizona. She later worked in the Flowing Wells School

District as a classroom aide, cafeteria aide, and assistant librarian. Julia is preceded in death by

her husband Everett J. Trueblood. She is survived by her seven children: David A. Trueblood,

wife, Jackie, Veronica A. Gurrola, husband Santos, Everett M. Trueblood and wife, Stacy,

Stephen W. Trueblood and wife Lia, Timothy F. Trueblood, Andrew D. Trueblood and wife Kim

and Mary D. Trueblood. Her grandchildren, Charlene Latham, Ryan Trueblood, Augie Gurrola,

Erika Escobar, Sara Patino, Andrew J. Trueblood, Jennifer Trueblood, Alyssa Trueblood,

Amanda Trueblood, Christian Steele, Julia Steele, Noah Trueblood and Abby Trueblood. Great

Grandchildren; Brianna Trueblood, Chance Sedillo, Zach Trueblood, Hailey Trueblood, Michael

Gurrola, Mason Gurrola, Madison Gurrola, Morgan Gurrola and Izzy Gurrola, Benjamin Patino,

Jameson Frey, Ava Frey, Ryland Scott, Leo Schemmer, Ariella Trueblood, Zoey Wilson, Vercie

Oquendo, Andrew Oquendo, and Angel Oquendo.

Julia was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic church throughout her adult life. She was

a Eucharistic minister, a lector, and participated in feeding the homeless and bringing people to

the Catholic faith.

Julia was a den mother when her kids were in cub scouts, she attended her children's sports

events and school activities. Later in life she enjoyed spending time with her friends, bowling,

traveling with her children, taking care of her grandchildren, and kicking everyone's butt in

Scrabble.

Julia brought laughter and joy to others with her kindness and sweet giggle. She touched many

lives with her love, compassion and understanding.

She will be truly missed.

In lieu of flowers please give to her favorite charity - St Jude's Children Hospital.
