Karen Kay Tyra

Age 74, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021. Karen was born in Enid, Oklahoma on December 25, 1946 to Carolyn Louise Summers and Henry H. Summers.

Karen ran her family's fuel tank business for years. She enjoyed water sports and she loved cooking for her friends and family.

Karen is survived by her husband, Kenneth Tyra Sr. who shared 58 years of marriage with her. She is also survived by brother-in-law Bill Tyra (Nancy Tyra), brother-in-law David Tyra (Lori Tyra) and sister-in-law Patricia Horney.

Karen was preceded in death by daughter Cheri Tyra and son Kenneth Tyra Jr.; mother Carolyn Louise Summers and father Henry Summers.
