

Kathleen (Kathy) Mary Hepler – No more suffering, no more pain. Kathy passed away at Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, and is now in God’s keeping. Kathy was born on March 2, 1937 in Whittlesey, England; one of four children born to Stanley and Florence Williams.
Kathy studied civil engineering at Peterborough Community College, and was a Draftswoman. Later, Kathy became a well-known bartender in Tucson, AZ, where she had a great following. In 2005, Kathy became a volunteer at Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she lovingly donated more than 4,500 hours of service.
Kathy met and married Tony Hepler. They shared 40 years of marriage. Together, they raised their pups Scooter, Molly, Riley and Maggie. These beloved dogs were their children.
Kathy loved her English Heritage, but was also a proud American. She was a classy woman, who always looked fabulous. She learned her caring ways from her mother, who told her to take care of your husband first, then your children, and in the third half hour, take care of yourself. Kathy enjoyed cooking and entertaining, reading, donating to many causes, and was especially giving of her time and energy to animal rights and causes.
Kathy was a member of Christ Community Church in Tucson. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Tony; parents Stanley and Florence Williams, Brother Kenneth and Sister Win. She is survived by her sister Jillian (Trevor) Collett, sister-in-laws Lois, Judy, Beverly and Yvonne (Mike), brother-in-laws Dennis (Sue), Charlie, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebrations of Kathy’s life will be held in Peterborough, England at a later date.
