Kathleen Haughton Good Schoen

Patricia Kathleen Haughton was born February 18, 1938, in Los Angeles, California.  She grew up in the beautiful Floral Park neighborhood of Santa Ana.  She graduated from Santa Ana High School and attended Scripps in Claremont and the University of Arizona in Tucson.  At the U of A, she met George Washington Good, and they married in 1958.  Kathleen and George had two sons, George Thomas Alexander (wife Roxana) and Gregory Eugene (wife Kathy).  George and Roxana have three of Kathleen’s grandchildren, Jordan, Alejandra, and Joshua.  Greg and Kathy also have three of Kathleen’s grandchildren, Brandon, David, and Andrew.  Kathleen is predeceased by her older sister Mary Beth (daughter Christie) and is survived by her sister Virginia (sons Dan, Victor, Michael, Jon).  In 1981, Kathleen was remarried to Bill Schoen, who had two sons, Gary (wife Sherry) and Jeff (wife Debbie).  Kathleen and Bill built a home in Cholla Bay, Mexico, overlooking the Sea of Cortez where they spent many wonderful years, including the golden years, watching the sea from the porch while the pelicans, dolphins, and sea gulls glided by.  Kathleen was known as the friendliest and most loving soul who cherished her boys, her grandchildren, and her many friends.  Nice sunset, Kathleen.  Thanks for a beautiful life.
