First thing she would do when she saw kids was go up to them and say hello. She treated every kid she saw like they were one of her own grandchildren. They were always happy to meet her, everyone was. Most of the time they would even come over to her to say goodbye before they left.
Kathy was very passionate about church. She attended Pantano Christian Church for many years. With the church she was involved in bible study, bereavement and church service greeting. She would take her dog Lady with her to visit people and it always brought happiness to everyone. There was a woman, Julie, that she cared for deeply. Julie was a quadriplegic and Kathy fed and took care of her often.
She enjoyed helping anyone she could. Kathy always saw the best in everything and everyone. There wasn’t a person she met that she didn’t make smile. She would walk up to a complete stranger and give them a hug. She was very kindhearted, giving, and virtuous. She was a most beautiful person inside and out.
