Kevin Jermaine was born in Pine Bluff Arkansas in 1977, to Toney "TC" Haywood and Dorothy Haywood, both of whom survive him. Kevin is further survived by his brothers Rodney J. Haywood and Derrick J. Haywood, and his sisters Toni Y. Kershaw and Talisa Y. Haywood. Kevin was the quintessential middle-child, the peacemaker, and everyone's confidant.
Kevin met and married the love of his live, Belina Haywood, 17 years ago. Together, they raised four children to whom he was endlessly devoted; Ashaunteé Miché Haywood, Romello Haywood, and Jazzlyn and Josslyn Haywood. There was nothing Kevin was more passionate about in his life than being a doting husband, and loving father.
Kevin is remembered fondly as honest, and straightforward. Never one to dodge the issue, he could be trusted to tell it as it was, kind and true. He was a meticulous dresser, of the mind that a first impression is a lasting one, and every day was a new first impression; he had a hat to coordinate with every pair of shoes, and a closet to match. He was an avid football fan, supported of the Raiders, and coach to his son's team from childhood to highschool. Above all, what Kevin loved was his family.
Kevin's first passion was acting as the best father he could be, followed closely by being a caring husband, son, brother, friend, and coach. He is remembered as endlessly giving, and is cherished in the hearts of all those who knew him. Kevin will be dearly and deeply missed.
A visitation for Kevin will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706, followed by a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
