He was a member and leader in the American Society of Interior Designers. He later formed Deutsch/Parker Design, Ltd. with his husband of 36 years, William F. Parker (Bill). Larry was a connoisseur and avid collector of fine and decorative art and he and Bill enjoyed traveling the world in support of their shared passion.
Larry is predeceased by his parents, Belle and Samuel Deutsch, and his sister Francine Silver Deutsch. He is survived by his husband Bill, his daughters Loren, Cathy (Robert Auchinleck), and Leigh (Thane Hecox), his stepchildren Julie Parker McGill (Marvin) and John Parker, grandchildren Gertie, Ella, Leopold, and Golda, step-grandchildren Blaine, Brooke, Gemma, and Ian, as well as his former wife of 27 years, Julie Deutsch of Highland Park, Illinois, and former son-in-law Jason Harris.
