Larry Jerrlies Matney, age 73 of Tucson, passed away January 17th 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. Larry was born on May 23, 1951, in Sullivan, Indiana. He graduated from Sunnyside High School and shortly after continued his education at Pima Community College. In February 23, 1968 he met and married Marsha E. Robertson. Larry held a career as a pipe fitter and as a welder for Union Local Number 469. Aside from his responsibilities and work duties, he had a passion for fishing, hunting and camping with his beautiful family. Larry is survived by his wife, Marsha E. Matney, Larry J. Matney Jr., Earl J. Matney, Tina E. Matney, his sister Linda J. Cook, brother, Dennis J. Matney, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
He will be deeply missed.
