It is with great sadness that the children of Larry Dean Nash announce his passing on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the age of 70 in Tucson, Arizona. Our father was born on January 02, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri to Alfred Francis and Naomi Marie Nash.
As a young man, he and his family relocated to Sacramento, California where he later joined the United States Navy. After being honorably discharged, he met our mother, Vicki Lynn Nash. The two married on February 08, 1975 and later divorced.
Our father was a Master Craftsman, spending over 50 years of his life working as an artisan and mentor for various construction companies throughout his years of employment. Whether he was building furniture for himself, creating a masterpiece for friends, or building homes for work, he always gave 100% and took pride in his accomplishment and joy in working with his hands. His children took pride in him.
In his spare time, he liked to hunt, fish, barbeque, and enjoy the great outdoors. His favorite pastime was dancing and shooting the breeze with friends over drinks.
He is survived by his children: Alfred Nash of Arizona; Katie (Marcus) White Bull of New Mexico; Sandra Nash of Arizona; and Larry J. Nash of Utah; and his grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Jacob, Anastasia, and Taylor.
He is also survived by his sister, Alice (Jim) Demos of California; his nephew and nieces Kenneth Spears, Tonya McClymonds, Carol Thompson Bailey, and Sharon Spears. Longtime friends Lyle McRae and Laurie Jones; and his brother and lifelong best friend, Frank Edadiz.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Joyce Wafford.
In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
