Lea Ann Zak Romanko

Born December 30,1958 in Kimball, Nebraska. Passed away peacefully at the age of 66, surrounded by family on May 3, 2025. Survived by husband, John Romanko; mother, Charlotte Zak; sister, Leslie Zak; sister, Lisa Zak (Robert Moreno); niece, Brittany Jacobs (Jo); nephew, Sean Moreno; niece, Sara Moreno; great-niece, Parker Jacobs. Preceded in death by her father, Alvin Zak. Lea Ann lived in Gering, Nebraska until the age of 20. She then moved to Tucson AZ to be closer to her family and lived in Tucson for the remaining years of her life. She worked as a nail tech for several years and then as a trainer at McKesson Pharmaceuticals. She was an amazing bartender, working at several local establishments over the years and along the way, she made many friends. She had a fun-loving spirit and the gift of gab like her dad and loved to be with friends and family. In 2013 she met the love of her life, John, and they married that same year. She was a big animal lover, and her dogs and cats gave her great comfort. A celebration of life is being planned on a date to be determined.
