

Leslie Ann Turner, a woman who had the ability to do it all, sadly passed away at the age of 57 on 2/10/2024. Leslie was a bundle of joy for her family and friends. She brought happiness with her wherever she went and touched hearts with her joyful persona.
Leslie will reunite in heaven with her mother Martha Turner and her daughter Erica Nicole Sanchez. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband Dennis Martinez, her son Anthony Sanchez, and her beloved grandson Maverick Carter. She is survived by her siblings, Billy Turner (Patricia) Tucson, Arizona, Elizabeth Socash (Lenny) Sterling City, Texas, Rosemary Rodriguez (Ernie) of Safford, Arizona, Larry Turner, Lordsburg, New Mexico, Jerry Turner (Lupe) Lordsburg, New Mexico, Lucy Bejarano (Manuel) El Paso, Texas, Terry Ruiz, Tucson, Arizona.
In times of hardship, Leslie remained optimistic and resilient. She found joy in making others smile and believed that laughter was the best medicine for healing our wounds. Her ability to find joy in everything around her inspired people to see the beauty in life despite the difficulties they may be facing.
Leslie cherished her friends and family deeply and always chose love and joy throughout her life. She will always be remembered for inspiring others to see the beauty in everyday life; her gentle heart and caring nature will always remain with us.
Leslie loved her fur babies, Mango, Fiona, and Fred the turtle. She loved to dance and listen to country music. She was a spiritual soul and enjoyed beautiful days at the park with her family and watching her grandson ride his bike, but do not mess with her on game day – Go Cardinals!
Leslie’s passing has left a deep sorrow among her family members and close friends—their world will never be quite the same without her. However, everyone who knew Leslie can now take solace that her life had such a profound impact on those around her. May her soul rest in eternal peace forever.
A visitation for Leslie will be held Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706, followed by a rosary from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
