Mackie passed away February 4 2024 at the age of 87. Born in Golden, New Mexico, she graduated from Marana H.S. and made Tucson, Arizona her home. Preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo, she is survived by her two sons, David (Kathy) and Leonard (Monica); five granddaughters, nine great-grandchildren, her brother Gabriel (Susan) many nieces and nephews and many treasured friendships. She worked with Tucson Newspapers Inc in 1965 and retired in 1994. She loved the game of golf and as an avid golfer; she coordinated many golf tournaments. A special thanks to Sedona Gardens Hospice. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 07, 2024 at St. Pius Church, 1800 N Camino Pio Decimo with interment following the Mass at East Lawn Cemetery, 5822 East Grant Road.
