Mark proudly served in the Army during World War II as a Military Police officer. His early career included working at the Naval Shipyards, General Motors, and the Virginian Railroad before settling into a 24 year career with Duval Mines.
Mark is survived by Zola, his wife of 78 years, daughter Brenda and her husband Dwayne, son Mat Trivett, 6 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. He will be remembered as a man of faith and devotion, a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A private memorial will be held to honor and celebrate his life.
