Mandie, it is almost a year since you've been gone and i still cry for you almost everyday. I cry for the time we could've spent together but never got to, for the memories that we will never again get to laugh about together and for the conversations we will never get to have. you were not only my big cousin but you were also my big sister. you taught me a lot and you were always there when i needed advice and when i just needed someone to talk to. I THANK God you got to see me grow from a little girl to a young lady and i promise i will continue to make you proud as you watch over me from heaven. I love you Mandie. Mandie, baby, I ask GOD every day why my little cousin was taken from us so soon but nobody knows HIS plan. So I thank GOD for the precious time HE gave us with you. I was nanas first grandchild and you we're her last, so that made our relationship that much more special. Us, as a family, the Miranda family, have never felt such a loss, such a horrible loss babe, but we're getting through this together. Your such an awesome blessing to my girls! Thats what I'll miss about you and what I love about you! I always tell your "pops" that world is a lesser place without you and life will never be the same! From all of us at El Rio Health Center in the HIM Department; We are truly saddend by the news. We all remember Mandie's smile and great laugh. We shared so many good times. She most certainly lit up the room. There was never a dull moment with her around. We only wish that we would have seen her as she grew even more. Mandie also dearly loved her brother, Darren.  Darren there was times that you were a pillar for her and I know she adored and loved you. She told me so when they came to visit my husband and I.  You have also been a pillar for your mom and a blessing as well.

I'm still so lost for words with this, I hadn't talked to Mandie since middle school and to hear about her in this way after not seeing her in so long is heart breaking. She was one of the sweetest people i got to ever meet, she just had that way about herself she could light up a room just by being in it. Mandie what can i say about Mandie that nobody else has said, Mandie was my cousin who I hadn't seen up until June this year and we tried to hang out as much as we could to catch up on the 9 years that we had loss. I was glad she finally got to meet my boys. I am sad ill miss the rest of my life to see her again and just talk about and joke about the most random stuff, she was a beautiful person inside and out who you could tell anything too. I met mandie in elementry school. I remember her always so happy. She is the type of person you just want to know. Anyone who came into contact with her loved her. She is such a beautiful soul. I never got the chance to meet her son or hubby but I want to say prayers are with you through this hard times. Im sorry for your loss.

I personally have never met Mandie; however, I knew of her through my conversations with my husband.  Obviously she is a very beautiful person, but what is really important is the beauty she has shown from within her heart for her family. Mandie was such an incredibly beautiful person inside and out. We shared cherished moments throughout childhood and as adults, She is with God in peace now but forever in my heart and memories, I love her so much, Mandie, my bestfriend and my sister.

Grandpas have a special feeling for the grand kids.  We see the grand kids from a whole different perspective.  Grand parents have bragging rights that they had something to do with the life of these beautiful children and makes grand parents time here on earth worth while.  Who could not be proud of such a beautiful, warm and loving human being.  When you are around Mandie, you just feel good.  She makes things better just because she is there.  You can also see the love she created with Tres.  He bubbles when he is around her.  Who could ask for a better mother.  When you see her with her mom, daddy, brother, you see a deep love and special affection between each one of them.  Mandie Monique is unique and is forever a beautiful memory. Psalm 127 tells us that children are a heritage of the LORD....and are bragged about at the city gates...the children belong to the LORD and were loaned to each of us to learn from and enjoy.

To Mandie's family and my brother Dave, and nephew Tres....no words can describe what your going through.  As your big sister and always making all the boo boos better I would give anything to take this from you and Tres'.  God needed her more than we did here on earth and never guess for a minute that she isn't watching over you and Tres' every single day.  She loved you both, and I know you'll never love anyone like you did Mandie.  She knows your strong brother, its what she loved about you so make her proud in raising her baby boy she would want you both to be happy.  I love you more than you will ever know.

Mandie was an incredibly beautiful person inside and out, I love her so much from the moment we met as children, she was my bestfriend, my sister. I will miss her so much, and she will always be in my heart. With God I trust she is in a better place now. I love you Mandie.

The world is a grim place without Mandie's beautiful smile. She was such a dear friend to me when we were both overseas in Europe. I will miss her a great deal. I have faith that Tres will be very well taken care of by those closest to Mandie, and also by her. He now has the best guardian angel anyone could ever ask for.

Mandie was someone who touched my heart the moment I met her. Her spirit was so strong and bright that even as a young child she was someone you couldn't forget. I am so thankful to have had the chance to have known her I believe that everyone who had the chance feels the same way. She lived life to the fullest and her beauty was so incredible inside and out.
