Margaret (Hood) Thompson Born September 20, 1949, died October 23, 2012. Preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Thompson. Survived by her sister, Kathryn Kohler (Donald); nieces, Michelle Mirenda and Jan Lippert; great-nephews, Phillip and Sydney Mirenda and Brandon and Brett Lippert; sisters-in-law, Eleanor Weldon and Marilyn Mowbray; nieces and nephews, Kathleen Gin, Frank Enfinger, Melinda Chitwood, Wendy Hendry, Gilbert Mowbray, Kenneth Mowbray and their families. Margaret graduated from Tucson High School and the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She worked as a psychiatric nurse in Toledo, OH. She retired in Tucson, AZ, and was very active in her church. A Celebration of her life will be held Friday, November 16, 2012, 4:00 p.m. at Abounding Grace Lutheran Church, 2450 S. Kolb Road, Tucson, AZ, 85710, Pastor Keith Hardy officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the church to continue Margaret's leadership work. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.
