

Born October 1935 in Burt, Iowa, she was the daughter of Marie and Roy Morgan. She grew up in Buffalo Center, Iowa and would graduate from Buffalo Center High School where she played in the marching band and enjoyed painting and drawing. And was even named Football Queen.
She married Richard Mylan and moved to Newfoundland during his service in the Air Force.
They would move back to Iowa before eventually making their way to Tucson, where they raised two sons and stayed happily married until his untimely death. She later married Michael Holloway and enjoyed traveling, the arts, their family gatherings, friends and each other’s company above all.
Marian volunteered her time over the years at St. Joseph Hospital and the Tucson Botanical Gardens. She loved the beauty of the southwest but missed the changing of the seasons back in Iowa. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, playing bunco with friends, glass art, dogs and anything apple, among other things.
Marian’s memory as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother will be forever held in the hearts of her surviving family: husband – Michael; sons – Brad and Jeff, along with their wives Karen and Sharon respectively; grandchildren – Ryan, Matthew & his wife Melina, along with Steven, Cody and Hallie; and great grandchildren – Ashton and Olivia.
In addition to her parents and late husband, Marian was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Lynn Morgan.
