What stands out in memory most about my tia, was how devoted she was as a mother to my primo Marty. Always loving, attentive, offering anything she had to you. Loved the lunches she would cook for us when we would cross the street when we were in Jr High. Que DIOS la guarde en su mano. Un fuerte abrazo Primo y familia. Sid Ramírez

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have fun and happy memories of her. I always remember her humor, she always had a wisecrack, the gatherings and Tia Isidra’s house where she was the life of the party and there wouldn’t be a dull moment as long as she was there. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. May god bless you and your family. You’re left wit a lifetime of beautiful memories.
Sincerely from your cousin Yoli.

Tía Ana was truly one of a kind. She carried her wit, humor and grace like a favorite purse. She was our matriarch, our mariachi queen. We will forever be grateful for her history lessons and her “That’s your family” proclamation to the dogs, which we embraced.

There are so many fun memories she helped create--from timing young Martín and me as we ate our beans just so we would finish them, to watching her face light up the first time she saw NYC, to riding in a bus to Guaymas to see our extended family, to eating empanadas de calabaza like they were exquisite candies. My greatest memory of her, though, was seeing her out-dance every single person at her 80th birthday party. It was a true feat of joy and stamina!

I think she would say her greatest feat was being mama to Martín, of whom she was so proud.

We will miss you, Tia Ana, and never forget the laughter and joy you brought to every one of us.

We will dearly miss our Tia Ana.

May you rest in Heaven and sing all of your Mariachi songs with my Nina Helen. You two are going to have a ball up there! May God Bless you and may you watch over your baby Boy Martin! May you comfort him and assure him that you are happy and enjoying the “Good Life!”
Your presence, your kindness, your grace and most of all your humor, will never be forgotten. After all you coined our family mantra “That’s Your Family” and it will live on forever as you will be in our hearts.
