Marilyn Kay Ford

Our precious mother Marilyn Kay Ford (79) went to be with our savior Jesus Christ on February 20, 2023. Marilyn was born in Ludlow Kentucky on April 21, 1943, to Ella Mae Bangs and Robert Lee Redix.

Marilyn married Johnny Leroy Carter, and together they had three children, Tamra (Tammie), Jamie, and John (Robert). Marilyn married James Allen Ford on July 5, 1973. Marilyn worked as a secretary in the safety department at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma Arizona. Marilyn enjoyed gardening, sewing, holiday shopping with her daughters, and spending time with her family and friends. Marilyn is survived by her husband James Ford, her daughters Tammie and Jamie, Jamie’s husband Ken Collins, her son John (Robert), her stepchildren Robert Cobb, and Danny Cobb, her brother Robert Lewis Redix, her sister Jessie JoAnn Kennedy, her grandchildren Jenna Samu, Kaelyn Deeter, Robert Carter, Luis Landeros, Fabian Landeros, and Johnny Landeros, her great grandchildren Jackson Samu Cziryak, Jolene Carter, as well as several nieces, and nephews, and her fur baby Ellie Mae. Marilyn was predeceased by her mother Ella Mae Bangs, her father Robert Lee Redix and her sister Marcella Mae Hensley.
