My dad, Ray Mungaray worked with Marilyn for many years. He spoke very highly of her and respected her greatly. I remember when I would visit my dad at his office as a child. I was always greeted so warmly by Marilyn. She was a kind, beautiful soul. My deepest condolences, may she Rest In Peace. My prayers of strength and healing are with her family.

I worked in the vocational rehab field in Tucson, while working at Tetra, Wedco, and Beacon. I recall meeting Marilyn and immediately noticing the compassion and care she had for her vocational rehabilitation clients. I also recall later being humbled by becoming a vocational counselor myself and wondering if there was any possible way I could measure up to Marilyn Switzer. She was certainly an inspiration to me and I am sure very many others!

I first met Marilyn while she was working for Rehab Services and I was working for Tetra Corp (now Beacon Group). As a VR Counselor, who supported individuals with disabilities, Marilyn was much loved by her clients and highly respected by her professional peers. She connected with the individuals that she served in a genuine way and was their biggest champion as they pursued their work related goals. Her kind heart, generous spirit and warm smile will be greatly missed. Altough gone from our world too soon, I am sure she will still be rooting for her hometown team - the Buffalo Bills - every Sunday.

Marilyn was one of the kindest people I had the privilege of knowing right out of college. She definitely was one of my role models. She was the kind of advocate I wanted to be not only for those I served, but also for myself! Des I send my deepest condolences to you. Marilyn your presence made this world a kinder one! You will be greatly missed!

I worked with Marilyn during my time working with Rehab Services. I always found her to be friendly and a joy to be around. She retired first but we managed to stay connected through social media. I was so sad to hear of her passing and she will be missed a great deal.

Marilyn was the best of friends, someone who was there for you always. She and her husband, Des, welcomed me into their home for more holidays than I can count. She was a superb chef, a lover of animals, defender of disability rights and human rights. She was someone who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

My fondest memories of Marilyn are when I visited after I graduated high school. Great times with her and my brother. Kitt Peak, Mt. Lemon and going to Bisbee and Tombstone. Cherish the good times.
