Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather; gone too soon but never forgotten. Marion passed peacefully on his ranch in Three Points on January 20th, 2021 at the age of 87. He was born September 30, 1933 to Emerson H. and Betty Ethridge in El Dorado Kansas. He came to Tucson in 1951 after being stationed at DMAFB. It was in Tucson that he met and married his wife, Phyllis, God rest her soul.
Marion had a deep passion for handmade crafting, ranching, and supporting the youth through 4-H. He was very involved with the community and assisted in the establishment of the Three Points Community Center, VFW, and the Three Point Fire District.
Marion was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis and his youngest son, James. He is survived by three sons, Dan (Leanne), Randy, and Robert (Tina) and two daughters Tracy and Pam. He has 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will be having a private Mass and burial due to the COVID-19 restriction and for the safety of others.
