Marjorie was born at St. Joseph’s in Tucson, Arizona on July 5th, 1964.
She attended the Beacon Foundation from age 4 to 14. She moved to Peru with her mother and father from 1978 to 1986. Her dad worked for Southern Copper Corporation. While in Peru she learned, golfing, bowling, dancing, and swimming. She was a Girl Scout for 5 years and spoke fluent Spanish.
When she came back to the U.S. she worked at Pizza Hut and then Jim Click Nissan where she excelled at washing cars for 22 years through the Beacon Foundation.
As her health failed she returned to The Beacon Group-Day Program five days a week.
After her dad died, she began to decline which required extensive and later total care from a licensed, trained, and compassionate care giver. Erica and her family did that! They loved and cared for her for more than three years.
She attended “New Challenge Day Care” five days a week. There she was shown compassion and received excellent care.
Marjorie is survived by her mother: Toni Fathera, Brothers: Russell (Debbie), Stephen, (Katherine), Sister, Rayetta, (Mike). Nephews: Nicholas, Benjamin, Christopher, Cody, Jeremy, Anthony, Joshua and Glendon. Nieces: Elizabeth, Nina, Phelicity, Madison, Jasmine, Kati, Tara, Melanie, and Kenzie. Great Neice: Leela, Great Nephew: Zane.
