Marlene Francis Thomas

Marlene F. “Mar” Thomas soared into heaven on January 25, 2019. She was a rare Tucson native, born on February 26, 1933 to the late William “Jake” and Rose Jacob. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Honon J. Thomas, and 4 loving children Gary H. Thomas of San Diego, Tony W. Thomas of Tucson, Janeen C. Bury of Phoenix, and Scott D. Thomas (Indira) of Las Vegas. She is also survived by 7 Grandsons Marc Thomas, Michael Thomas, Daniel Bury, Matthew Thomas, Alexander Bury, Nicholas Bury, and Jeffrey Thomas,

and brother Daniel James Jacob (Rae Jacob) and many nieces and nephews and Godchildren.

Marlene devoted her life to her family and she loved every second of it. She was not only the best wife and mother, but became a successful real estate agent later in life. She truly loved life and people, making her profession more of a joy than a job. Marlene was one of eight children.

A memorial service will be held March 2, 2019. A rosary at 9:30am and a memorial mass at 10am at St. Cyril of Alexandria Church 4725 E. Pima Street Tucson, Arizona 85712. Repast (gathering) immediately after the service.
